  1. The rich upper classes would often be given tax exemptions while lower clases were still forced to pay up. This closely resembled the Hamiltonain idea of favoring the rich for a trickle down effect in the economy. (Doc A)

  4. Big Business and its leaders often evaded taxes and government regulation through intimidation of the government and the public. Their power and size allowed them access through loopholes in the system, further fueling this cycle (Doc Casey).

The common man, who makes struggles to make a living from day to day is forced to pay for the taxes and services of everyday life, while wealthy upper class citizens are able to avoid taxation, demonstrating the corruption between big business and government (D0c A)
